A Mid-Autumn Day in Canterbury

Today, October 29th, 2014, was a day well spent down in the historic city center of Canterbury. I went for a delicious meal of Fish and Chips at Chambers Café-Espresso Bar. The meal was a fair price of £8.00, but it was rather tasty!!!!

While the plan was to go shopping, the drizzle and drab weather convinced my fiancée and I to take shelter in the delightful Patisserie Valerie!! There, we enjoyed the enchanting ambiance of a little café perfect for an afternoon cake and coffee. We both ordered the Blackforest Gateau with a cup of black coffee. And the bill for two was under £13!

It was a perfect touch on a splendid afternoon.

We spent the rest of the afternoon shopping through Canterbury’s mall. Topman had a magnificent suit on sale for under £40, but alas, the pants did not fit much to my dismay. Oh well, maybe I can find them online!
